The Allison Farms are two hard working farms that have been in the Allison family since the land in this area was first settled. Our family has been in the Cattle and Timber business for over 150 years (yes over 150!!!) in this same location. (See History Tab)

Although it’s not one of the big fancy show places, we take pride in our herd quality, farm appearance, and equipment management. We do this while remaining practical.

The Allison Farms are located in in western Middle Tennessee near the Tennessee River and Interstate 40.  The Farms currently encompass over 1000 acres with approximately 200+ acres in pasture and hay-fields, with the balance in managed woodlands.  We are able to comfortably manage about 50 registered Angus and 50 commercial cows. Not including the calves, bulls, replacement heifers and steers.

The way we manage our herd allows us to breed practical high quality Registered and Commercial Black Angus cattle whose progeny is sound in function and form and are capable of excelling in most any environment.

One thing we are proud of is we genetically test ALL our cattle, Registered and Commercial.

Yes, Yes, Yes, we know numbers are not everything, however…

No bad genetics in = no bad genetics out
